September Empties 2016

Hello my dear readers. I maybe a little late for this post but you can only post a month’s empties after that month has passed. I would like you to know that this is my first empties blog post and I’m really excited about it. So let me share my empties with you people.

Okay, so I have a bunch of stuff to write about that range from very expensive products to some reasonable products. I don’t have any drugstore product to write about. By the way, for the matter of fact, the drugstore brands that we buy from Pakistan are not cheap at all also. They are cheap for people in America and Canada, but in Pakistan they cost a fair amount of money.

Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Shea and Vitamin E Shower gel.

I had a medium sized bottle of this shower gel that  I bought from America in January. I know It’s been a lot of time but I used to keep it for travel only. I picked it up at their billing counter basket just to give it a try. It was the Christmas sale at that time so I got this very cheap but I don’t remember the price now. The bottle is transparent with a red colored lid. The product is in gel consistency and red in color.Bath and Body Products are not tested on Animals. I love it’s fragrance. I got their cherry blossom body lotion also and this line has amazing fragrance. The guy at the store told me that it’s their best selling product so I wanted to give it a try. I am so much in love with their cherry blossom line. It was my first time purchase at bath and body works. I haven’t really noticed any skincare benefits but for the sake of a fragrant and joyful bath, it’s worth it. If I get the chance, I’d love to buy the full size bottle. I’m also eager to try their other collections also. I also fell in love with their candles! That was my favorite product from that store. It has a good yummy fragrance to it that I cannot get over it. I light it up on any special occasions only or when I’m in a mood of pampering bath. It just changes your mood. I cannot rave about it enough. Their candles are a must try!!

La Prairie Cellular Hydrating SerumLa Prairie Cellular Serum

Many of you people might not have even heard about this serum before. It’s quite an expensive product but I did not buy it myself. My husband bought this my when I used it I fell in love with it. It’s the best serum that I have ever used. So I just used it so much that now it’s empty. hehe. The bottle is so elegant with silver shiny cap and bottom. It has a pump that makes it hygienic. I have tried their skin caviar cream also and that’s also quite amazing. This serum makes your skin so much radiant in the longer run if you stick with it. I used to use it at night before bed. Sometimes, I used to layer my moisturizer on top and sometimes I was okay with this only. I have oily skin so serum are like my best friend. They absorb into your skin leaving hydrated and not shiny by any means. I have not used any serum like this by now. Would I repurchase? Maybe no. Because it’s too expensive but if I missed it so much I might buy it next time when I’m in Dubai.

Bio Oil

As I talked about it in my Current Skin Care routine that I have been using this product a lot these days. Click here to read that post. Bio Oil really has been my best friend these days. I slather it on my whole body after shower and sometimes also before going to bed. Usually with body butters, I have this problem that I feel sweaty when I use them during summers but with this it’s not the case. I does not sit on your skin but is absorbed instantly. It keeps my skin hydrated all day long. These days if I go without moisturising for one day, my skin starts to itch especially around the belly. It really has helped me to soothe my skin.

Sephora Lotus Sleeping MaskSephora Lotus Sleeping mask

This was again a purchase from Sephora America but I used it after some time. However, I did not like this mask. I felt like it did nothing for my skin. I have oil skin type and it’s gel like formula was too much for my skin. It is supposed to be left on your face overnight. I did not like the feeling this gel on my face, however, I sticked to it to see it I could see any skincare benefits but I was disappointed. It’s packaging is designed in such a way that it appears to be one time mask but actually you need a very little amount of product and you can use it for weeks. I will not repurchase this mask again. Maybe people with dry skin would like it but not me. It’s supposed moisturize and sooth your skin.

The Body Shop’s tea tree Face Mask.

In my previous blog posts also, I have talked about this mask a lot. I use this very often as it helps my skin to prevent acne. So, I purchase this mask over and over again. I just finished one pot at the end of September and ran to buy a new. It is suitable for blemished skin and I highly recommend this. I will definitely repurchase this until I find another better option to try.

So, lovelies these were September empties. I hope you found this article helpful. If you have any questions, feel free to write in the comments section below and don’t forget to like and follow also. I hope to see you reading my next posts also. Take care and loads of love ❤
